Job Summary :
The Employee Health and Safety Administrator (EHS Admin) foran Operation & Maintenance (O & M) team will coordinate officeadministrative activities to support the daily operations for an O & M teamlocated in Houston , Texas airport location.
This position reports directly toa Site Manager and has the sole responsibility to support Site Manager and O& M team to ensure all administrative task are managed in a timely andefficient manner.
Employee Health and Safety Administrator Dutiesand Responsibilities Airport O&M
- Assistingthe main office with monthly billing and invoicing when needed (Site Specific)
- Newemployee onboarding / offboarding including all new employee training
- Maintainingall employee training records
- Maintainingand updating all site SharePoint files on a regular basis including employeeperformance, employee contacts, KPI spreadsheets, training spreadsheets, sitefact sheets and site specific documentation
- Assistingemployees with Siemens network and intranet access.
- GatheringKPI data from the sites CRO and updating all records for weekly, monthly andannual reporting
- Maintainingall state and organization required postings throughout all office, shop andbreak areas.
- Maintainingand ordering all office supplies and equipment
- Maintainingand ordering all employee PPE and safety equipment at the direction of the sitemanager
- Coordinatingall site events including holidays and employee appreciation
- Keepingup with Siemens policies and procedures and updating all employees whennecessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills, ability tomeet short deadlines
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to function in fast-paced and at timesstressful environment
- Ability to operate within a complexorganizational structure
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite orrelated software
- CertifyEmployees as they’re on boarded through the NHO process
- Track& Order all PPE supplies including Prescription Safety Glasses & BootVouchers tracking
- CatswebUploads Daily, Weekly & Monthly
- EnsureSite Meets EHS Compliance’s through Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annul & AnnualSafety Audits (F233 / F237)
- EnsureSite Meets OSHA Compliance’s (OSHA10 / OSHA30)
- Schedule& Maintain all Safety Training classes & Courses sent by Managers(Monthly & Yearly)
- Schedule& Maintain all Safety Training classes & Courses through Siemens MyLearning
- PerformGround Safety Walks with UA
- TrackGround Safety Work Orders
- RepresentIAH in Monthly EHS Safety Calls
- TrackIAH EHS Championship participation (Weekly & Monthly)
- Track& Report First aid logs & Safety Activity Report (F163)
- Perform& Report any Accidents & Injuries for IAH
- CPR1
Aid and BBP CertificationTraining
Forkliftand Aerial Lift Certification Training
Required Skills / Abilities
Education and Experience :
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in officeadministration or related field preferred
- Atleast three years of administrative and clerical experience
- Experienceworking in non-standard office environment
Physical Requirements :
- Liftingup to 25 pounds
- Prolongedperiods sitting at desk and working on a computer
- Moderatewalking
