Mission :
The Next Door Recovery provides a continuum of evidence-based services for women and their families impacted by addiction, mental illness, trauma and / or incarceration with Christ-centered compassionate care.
Summary :
To provide direct care for clients, families, and / or support system that meets applicable law and regulatory body standards and carry out the organizational mission.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties include the following :
- Ensures that a welcoming, safe, and healing environment is maintained for each client and family throughout the continuum of care.
- Develop education folders to provide to each family upon admission of client
- Develop and implement family groups for clients and families
- Make contact with family members to invite them to attend Family Education Group
- Track family program participation
- Actively participate in weekly treatment team meetings
- Carry a Residential Therapist case load of 6 (+ / -) Clients
- Complete BPS and ASAM's for incoming Clients
- Facilitate a primary group 4 days a week or on a rotation
- Ensure timely and professional documentation to support each client's interactions and coordination of services per the documentation guidelines of The Next Door Recovery, Inc.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
Master's degree in counseling or social work required. Licensed preferred. Actively pursuing licensure considered. At least two years of experience working with families or in the addiction field.
Other Requirements :
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Possess computer skills including e-mail, Word, and Excel.
Valid driver's license.
