Overview :
Responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s logistics, shipping revenue generated, and all the distribution of all co-packing operations with the analysis that includes units, dollars, & metrics.
Maintains, enhances, and promotes performance by implementing key initiatives and strategies. Includes staff optimization / best practices and development of an agile / flexible organization.
Responsibilities :
Specific Responsibilities
Oversees and supervises the daily inbound and outbound logistics needs within the upstate South Carolina operation.
Supervises the IVC CDL driver roster as well as the distribution center shipping department staff.
Ensures all internal and external customer needs are met on a daily basis. Focus should be on eliminating downtime caused by logistical opportunities, as well as the elimination / reduction of external 36customer fines due to outbound shipment errors.
Ensure all procedures and policies are followed and comply with internal and external regulatory needs.
Create an environment to ensure expectations are exceeded.
Provide direction, promote safety first, guidelines, controls to create / maintain adherence to comp / HAACP and other like programs.
Responsible for daily reporting of shipping revenue, that includes MTD, YTD totals, with variances on why daily goals are not met or exceeded.
Gather analysis on what is received in daily, by supplier, item, and buyer / planner
Monitors and oversees products going to outside packaging; working closely with planning group to ensure certain orders are complete
Monitors and manages a Receiving scorecard showing orders completed versus orders planned, items shipped versus planned, tracking errors, and provide root cause with daily analysis, and monthly recap

Qualifications :
Education, Experience, and Licenses :
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in inventory control or warehousing within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Organizational and motivational leadership coupled with strong technical and analytical ability
Problem solving abilities for short- and long-term resolution
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Macros) preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to relate and interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
