Position Summary :
The Reservationist is the first contact for customers calling the restaurant. This role must deliver excellent customer service through contact that is professional, friendly, efficient and informative, as well as ensuring the successful delivery of the Gibsons Restaurant Group’s philosophy, which is based upon four distinct core beliefs : Hospitality, Quality, Value and Family.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Answer phone calls for reservations or general restaurant information.
Enter reservations into Seven Rooms software.
Take carryout orders and enter them through an online software program.
Continuously update customer profiles and contribute to the upkeep of an accurate database.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Must be able to multi task in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Ability to maintain composure in high stress or conflict situations
Basic computer skills for data entry required
Basic math skills required
Education and / or Experience :
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. At least one year of experience answering phones and / or working in a customer service role.#ZR
