Production Worker

In this role, you create neoprene-based products by stripping, poking, sorting, washing, pre-dipping, and inspecting according to quality cleanliness standards.

• 1st Shift - 6 am-4 : 15 pm
• 2nd shift - 2 pm-12 : 15 am
• 3rd shift - 10 pm-8 : 15 am

Responsibilities of Production Worker :

Switching out mandrels during a rotational mandrel chance and placing them in proper storage area; performing duties of leach line operator;

assisting with draining, cleaning, and filling of tanks when necessary.

Checking mandrels and racks for foreign material, water, and pieces of rubber at various points during dipping operations;

scraping off dried pre-dip runs of the back of the mandrels; removing miscellaneous junk from the production line; operating high-pressure washer to ensure mandrels are free from excess rubber and residue.

Operating all machinery safely and efficiently; reporting any safety hazards to the assigned supervisor or safety manager;

complying with all safety and quality policies, practices, and procedures; assuring compliance with all regulatory requirements including workplace safety, OSHA, etc.

Wears steel-toed shoes and hearing protection in the proper places. Makes sure trash cans are taken out, floors are clean, and general housekeeping duties.

Keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficient work pace; meeting and exceeding all performance measurements : quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.
