Description

General radiography, ultrasound imaging and portable radiography are the main functions. As experience increases, duties will also include advanced imaging modalities such as CT and special procedures.

Animal handling is required.

Responsibilities :

  • General radiography / orthopedic / portable work
  • Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) / computer work
  • Teaching students
  • Animal handling and monitoring
  • Ultrasound
  • Special procedure studies / special species
  • Teaches or assists in teaching veterinary and veterinary technician students.

Hours :

Sunday through Wednesday. A 10% shift differential will be included in Sunday shifts.

Sunday- 8 : 30-5

Monday-Wednesday- 8-6 : 30.

Qualifications :

Must be a CVT / LVT / RVT or eligible to sit for and pass the VTNE within the next three months.

Veterinary Technician, Imaging A- CVT or board eligible- 0-1 year of experience

Veterinary Technician, Imaging B- CVT 2-3 years of experience

Veterinary Technician, Imaging C- CVT 3-4 years of experience

Veterinary Technician, Imaging D- CVT 5-8 years of experience

Veterinary Technician, E- CVT, VTS 8+ years of experience and a VTS, or additional certifications

We are hiring at all levels for this position. Minimum starting salaries increase with each level. Relevant education, experience, skills, and licenses / certifications are among the factors considered in salary offers.
