$2,500 LPN Hiring Bonus $2,000 CMA Hiring Bonus Additional 6% of Base Pay!

Find your purpose as an LPN or CMA with the CentraCare Correctional Care team. The LPN or CMA will provide medical care for incarcerated individuals at the Wright County jail in Buffalo, MN.

This LPN or CMA will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team that provides medical services for inmates within the jail.

Inmates may need mental health care, addiction medicine services (including detoxification), basic care for general or acute illnesses or injuries, maternity care, medication management and much more.

Schedule Options :

• 32, 40, or 80 hours per 2-week pay period.
• Choose your weekend rotation. Work every weekend, every other weekend, or every third weekend
• Choose 6 or 8-hour shifts. 4pm to 10pm (med pass) 1 : 30pm to 10pm

Pay :

• Hiring Bonus : $2,500 for LPN and $2,000 for CMA!
• We pay for experience!
• Entry level LPN wage is $20.84 ($19.66 base+ 6% jail premium $1.18)
• Entry level wage for CMA is $19.74 ($18.62 base 6% jail premium of $1.12)
• We offer evening and weekend differentials plus Baylor (all weekend) differentials

Education and Licensure :

Licensed Practical Nurse

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.

Medical Assistant

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following : American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.

Other Qualifications / Requirements :

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
• Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
• BCA and county background check required.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position.

Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
