Position Summary
The University at Buffalo (UB) offers a variety of Adjunct Instructor opportunities in the . We seek individuals who can understand and contribute to the School’s and University’s mission and vision.
Assignments include seated or on-line courses in a discipline of expertise of pharmaceutical sciences, PKPD, pharmacometrics, pharmacogenomics, drug transport and design, drug delivery, and related fields.
Essential Functions :
- Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of subject.
- Provide students with appropriate learning materials and expertise in assigned subject(s).
- Use University and department learning systems (example, UB Learns) and adhere to good instructional practices (example, published syllabi and holding office hours).
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide effective feedback to guide student learning and success.
- Responsible for contributing to and maintaining an inclusive and collaborative environment.

- Master’s degree with relevant work experience, professional certification, or equivalency will be considered.
- Terminal degree in the relevant discipline / field.
- Extensive professional or specialized teaching experience may be substituted for terminal degree.
- Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Post-secondary teaching experience in related field such as PKPD, pharmacometrics, pharmacogenomics, drug transport and design, drug delivery, and related fields.
