Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer in Test to work on a 12-month contract in Durham, NC.

The pay rate is in the $65 to $70 / hour range. This is a hybrid position, requiring two weeks onsite per month. Candidates must be local to the Raleigh / Durham, NC area.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities :

• Develop automated testing solutions for high-volume batch applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Quality Assurance and Development teams to deliver financial planning tools.
• Use Java, Spring Boot, and REST Assured for API automation testing.
• Implement testing strategies using Postman, Cucumber, Gherkin, and Jenkins.
• Drive innovation in test automation and DevSecOps processes to enhance delivery speed and quality.

Experience Requirements :

• Strong experience with Java, REST Assured, and Postman for API automation.
• Knowledge of Spark, cloud technologies, and Agile software development practices.
• Expertise in BDD testing with Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Experience in high-volume batch processing and working with relational databases for test data mining.

Education Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate;

other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
