About thisrole :

Wells Fargo is seeking aSenior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) for National BranchNetwork as part of the Consumer Small and Business Bankingdivision.

This is an interim position until the trainee hasreceived certification of program completion and been placed into abranch.

Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readinessprogram is a prerequisite to transition into an Associate BranchManager (ABM) or Branch Manager (BM) role.

Employees who are notcurrently in an ABM or BM role at the time of hire will participatein the Branch Manager Readiness program.

OurBranch Managers are responsible for leading managing and developinga diverse team of direct and indirect reports creating a culturethat fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountabilityto business outcomes.

Successful Branch Managers are able to lead ahighly defined customer engagement process coaching to specificbehaviors that lead to an enhanced customer experience and drivegrowth in the business while also driving accountability foroperational excellence.

This involves executing policies andprocedures in alignment with applicable regulations as well asaudit and escalation procedures and managing the allocation ofpeople and financial resources for thebranch.

In this role youwill :

Coach develop and build ahigh performing team to execute on business strategies achieveresults and drive growth of the business;

This includes coachingbankers to engage customers to understand their needs and workproactively to build relationships and help customers succeedfinancially

  • Resolve low to moderately complexissues regarding the customer and employee experience risk andgrowth of the team and the business to meet Branch Network businessobjectives
  • Identify opportunities for makingbanking easier for customers through education and demonstration ofavailable digital options to support adoption and customerconvenience
  • Lead the branch while engagingstakeholders peers and internal partners in collaborating andbuilding strong partnerships to deliver a customercentricexperience
  • Mentor and guide talent developmentof direct reports and assist in hiringtalent
  • This SAFE position has customer contactand job duties which may include the offering / negotiating of termsand / or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction.

Assuch this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. MortgageLicensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoingemployment is contingent upon meeting all such requirementsincluding acceptable background investigation results.

Individualsin a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirementsunder Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectationsbelow

RequiredQualifications :

  • 4 years ofbanking financial services or Branch Network experience orequivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of thefollowing : work experience training military experienceeducation
  • 2 years of leadershipexperience

DesiredQualifications :

  • Managementexperience including hiring coaching and developing directreports
  • Ability to build and inspire a teamwhere adaptability collaboration and accountability to performanceare critical to success
  • Ability to analyzeperformance understand strengths and opportunities and execute aplan that empowers employees to achieve business objectives
  • Exercise independent judgement and criticalthinking skills to manage time prioritize and delegate tasks in acomplex fastpaced environment
  • Experience andknowledge in coaching across customer segments including affluenthigh net worth and small business
  • Experiencebuilding and maintaining effective relationships with customersinternal partners and within thecommunity
  • Extensive experience in askingquestions and identifying complex financial needs in order toprovide relevant options to customers
  • Abilityto lead a team to influence educate and connect customers totechnology and share the value of digitalbanking
  • Knowledge and understanding of bankingindustry laws and regulations compliance controls risk managementand loss prevention
  • Ability to interact withintegrity and professionalism with customers andemployees
  • Relevant military experienceincluding working with military protocol and instructions enlistedevaluations officer / leadership reporting or military experienceworking in personnel benefits management processing militarypersonnel orders or transitions wartime readiness operations humanresources or militaryrecruiting

JobExpectations :

  • Ability to work aschedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Thisposition requires SAFE registration at the time of employment.Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediatelyafter your employment start date.

The Nationwide Mortgage LicensingSystem (NMLS) website ( ) provides the MU4R questions andregistration required for employment in this position.

Individualsin Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer FinancialProtection Bureau qualification requirements and comply withrelated Wells Fargo policies.

The LO qualification requirementsinclude meeting applicable financial responsibility charactergeneral financial fitness and criminal background standards.

Acurrent credit report will be used to assess your financialresponsibility and credit fitness however a credit score is notincluded as part of the evaluation.

Successful candidates must alsomeet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screeningif necessary
