We are looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to become part of our dynamic team in San Diego. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in HVAC mechanical installation, with expertise in metal ductwork, setting, and finishing.
Alongside project management responsibilities, the position will involve supervising mechanical installers and pipe fitters to guarantee successful project completion.
Compensation :
$80,000 - $130,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee mechanical installation projects in San Diego, CA, US from start to finish.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are fulfilled.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress towards established objectives.
- Offer technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including mechanical installers and pipe fitters.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Perform regular site inspections and quality control assessments to uphold high workmanship standards.
- Manage project documentation such as contracts, change orders, and progress reports effectively.
- Engage in clear communication with stakeholders to address concerns and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical installations, specializing in metal ductwork installation, assembly, and completion.
- Demonstrated track record in successfully managing projects, particularly within the construction sector.
- Possess strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills to inspire and lead project teams.
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making, essential for overcoming challenges in project execution.
- Familiarity with construction management software and various tools to streamline project processes.
- Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications or qualifications in project management or mechanical installations would be advantageous.
