Culligan is looking for a motivated and ambitious candidate to join the Corporate Treasury Department. The Capital Expenditure Senior Analyst will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the allocation of financial resources for capital projects and investments across the organization.
The Capital Expenditure Senior Analyst must be able to work independently with limited guidance and as part of a collaborative team to align enterprise goals with business unit needs.
This individual will own and lead the Capital Expenditure budgeting and planning process which includes establishing and implementing consistent Capital Expenditure processes across business units, sharing Capital Expenditure best practices across business units, setting Capital Expenditure guardrails and consolidating Capital Expenditure budgets and forecasts across global business units.
As part of the role, the Capital Expenditure Senior Analyst will serve as a thought partner with business units, helping them develop strategies to reach their targets and course correct if spend begins to exceed targets.
Other responsibilities include reviewing plans for major capital projects and reviewing consolidated Capital Expenditure summary with CFO.
This individual will leverage analytical skills, leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities to align stakeholders across the organization.
Specific Job Function :
Serve as a central point of contact for CapEx management between Corporate Finance and business units. Implement consistent CapEx policy across the enterprise;
ensure comprehensive cost-benefit analysis, including NPV (Net Present Value), ROI (Return on Investment) and payback period analysis is completed.
Develop a deep understanding of business unit needs and enterprise goals to drive alignment between Corporate Finance and business units
- Develop CapEx goals for business units and track business unit performance against KPIs
- Consolidate CapEx budget, forecast materials, and templates to generate an enterprise-wide view of capital spend; Communicate and present capital project analysis to CFO
- Review and track major capital projects
- Collaborate with Business Units on major projects to help maximize CapEx efficiency
- Collaborate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure optimization of CapEx spend
- Identify, share and implement CapEx best practices across Business Units
- Ensure that all stakeholders understand enterprise goals and their role in achieving them
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree ( in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance for Private Equity, Investment Banking, or corporate finance
- Leading Capital Management process for global enterprises
- Experience in significant business process implementation and technology process implementation
- Experience with Rental base management
- Strong financial and analytical background
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage different timelines and stakeholders
- Ability to navigate in an ERP and Consolidations System (Hyperion Planning is a plus)
- Ability to adapt in fast pace and ambiguous environments
