YOUR SCHEDULE :

This position works Monday - Friday during normal business hours.

YOUR DAY :

As a Routing Manager, you do more than create driving routes; you strike the perfect balance between efficiency and customer satisfaction! Your goal is to determine how routes would best serve the business needs while saving costs wherever possible.

Considering factors like route metrics and other operational needs, you create effective the most effective routes possible.

Leveraging software such as Samsara or Route4Me, you create and maintain efficient driving routes. You supervise and maintain the routes our drivers go, making note of any variances and investigating any discrepancies.

Working closely with management, you identify areas for improvement and develop effective new logistics strategies. When you're not coordinating drivers, you're assisting with administrative tasks like data entry, client correspondence, and other essential functions.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Knowledge of routing and logistics methods as well as relevant policies and procedures
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office
• Problem-solving skills and ability to improve processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Attention to detail with strong planning and time management skills
• Willingness to complete required assessments

Proficiency with a TMS (transportation management software) would be preferred.
