JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist Research Analyst provides strategic, analytical and project management leadership for Sales and Marketing initiatives.
Assists in developing actionable business intelligence to develop product and marketing strategies for our corporate account partners that make up over 30% of the total retail base at the Kentucky Lottery Corporation (KLC).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Anticipates information and insight needs for the Sales and Marketing Departments and KLC Senior Management.
- Serves as main point of contact for Corporate Account Managers and Marketing Department. Provides monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc corporate account reporting and sales analysis for out-of-stocks, YoY projections, and promotional conception.
Coordinates with Promotions Department and Corporate Account marketing functions as necessary.
- Presents and works directly with Corporate Account Retail Managers to facilitate on-site promotional events on behalf of the KLC.
- Assists KLC team members in sourcing and summarizing information needed to make informed decisions on design, promotion, and sale of lottery products.
- Assists Sr. Marketing Specialist of Research and Digital UX in the execution and reporting of consumer data and information.
- Manages comprehensive calendar of corporate account chain promotions and programs. Executes partnership details from concept to completion.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related Social Science required; related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in marketing or research preferred.
- Strong organizational skills required. Experience with organizational software (Monday.com / Asana / MS Planner, etc.) a plus.
- Working knowledge of PC and exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of basic statistics used in business settings.
- Experience and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative sampling techniques.
- Knowledge or experience in lottery industry a plus.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Office / Hybrid environment in accordance with KLC policies.
- Travel 10% or less.

Salary Range : $52,836 - $79,254 . Placement within the salary range is determined based on years of directly relatable experience for the position.
