Hospice Volunteer Coordinator
Volunteers are truly the heart of hospice. Volunteering with Luminary Hospice is a rewarding way to bring support and comfort to the lives of hospice patients and their families.
We are looking for an outstanding Volunteer Coordinator to join our growing team. We are dedicated to our employees, volunteers, families and patients.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Hospice Volunteer program
- Recruit, orient, onboard and retain Volunteers
- Manage the scheduling of volunteers
- Develop community relationships
Requirements
- Compassion and Integrity
- Ability to manage a comprehensive team of volunteers
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Assoicate or bachelor's degree preferred
- One year experience working with families or groups, experience coordinating volunteers preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hospice or other healthcare experience preferred
