Piper Companies is hiring for a Parts Cleaner for a medical device company located in San Jose, CA . The Parts Cleaner will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness of the 3D printed plates in San Jose, CA .
This is a full-time, on site , five-day-a-week position, offered as a 6-month contract with the potential for extension
Responsibilities of the Parts Cleaner
- Utilize sharp razor blades and various hand tools safely and accurately for cutting and shaping materials
- Will be cleaning plates for 3D printers so they are ready to go next day
- Handle solvents and resins according to strict safety procedures, ensuring proper storage and disposal
- Follow detailed work instructions to maintain high safety and quality standards throughout the production process
- Provide regular updates on job status to team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure all outputs meet specified standards and promptly address any issues
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment, efficiently managing tasks to meet critical deadlines
Requirements for the Parts Cleaner
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally within the medical industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required
