What The Day Will Look Like

• Be responsible for all financial activities for assigned clients
• Prepare regular (monthly or quarterly) financial reporting packages for clients, leveraging existing templates
• Assist in collecting andpleting input for various financial models such as Incurred But Not Reported Claims model, Actuarial Value Plan Model and Pricing Models
• Analyze ad hoc data using advanced functions in Excel and effectivelymunicate findings with both internal client team and stakeholders at the client
• Conduct ad-hoc projects as needed using appropriate resources (Health Care Reform impact modeling, plan changes, self-funded vs.

fully insured analysis, etc.)

• Develop executive summary on all key financialponents of marketing and provide rmendations
• Review financial caveats, deviations and other notes in proposals, add appropriate notes to the client RFP results presentation
• Review insurance carrier renewal calculations for medical, dental, vision, life and disability and identify areas for negotiation

This role will assist the lead actuary and consultants on assigned large accounts and manage / lead smaller actuarial engagements.

Skills and Expertise That Will Lead to Success :

• Eight plus of years health and benefits underwriting experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong proficiency in self-insured and fully insured funding arrangements
• Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office

Education :

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• License or Certificate Requirements :
• Appropriate Insurance License / Life and Health or willingness to obtain license as soon as possible

Pay Transparency Laws :

The salary range for this position intended for applicants is $120-$165k annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of State / Region.

The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.

The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
