Summary :
The Catering Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the Catering Department at the hotel.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Maintain profitable operations and high-quality products and service
- Act as a liaison between client and operating departments to ensure a successful meeting and to generate repeat business
- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Plan and administer catering events by assuring all duties are accomplished personally and through subordinates
- Maintains established customer relations and generates new relationships
- Conducts property tours and prepares information for site inspections
- Generates monthly forecast reports
- Manages time and workload with attention to detail
- Works with clients to determine specific needs and designs a program to fit the requirements outlined by the client
Requirements : Qualifications :
Qualifications :
- 3+ years in Catering preferred
- Knowledge of hotels and competitive markets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
