The Lockheed Martin facility in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a Industrial Engineer.

Industrial Engineers operate in a fast-paced, agile, next-gen environment, and utilize the latest technology in PLM, MRP, MES, Discrete Event Simulation, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization Software to produce analysis’ & metrics which enable imperative business decisions.

This position will provide data-driven solutions that enable the production team to optimize their manufacturing schedules and costs.

Shop floor interaction with production operations team enable the IE to comprehend the manufacturing processes to provide data-driven deliverables to internal customers.

This position requires collaboration with all functional groups through the entire product lifecycle within a production environment.

Candidate will have the opportunity to provide valuable solutions to multiple organizations and align program priorities.

The Industrial Engineering team is known for delivering breakthrough capabilities and process improvement that continually redefine space flight.

This is an experienced Industrial Engineering opportunity where you will :

• Apply advanced Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques to analyze business processes and reduce waste.
• Serve as Performance Excellence business partner for variety of organizations at LM Space. This role requires great communication skills and project management experience.
• Work with all aspects of Operations and Space Enterprise to support defining projects, business impacts, ROI, communication and closure of initiatives and drive metrics for measuring business improvements using Lean & Six Sigma methodologies (A3), and business processes management principles.
• Interrogate data systems and look for opportunities to surface problems and drive improvements.
• Oversee process improvement efforts, ensuring implementation and sustainment while demonstrating results.
• Average of 10% or less travel

Desired skills

• OET / PMT program experience
• Experience with SAP, Apriso, VECAMS, Tableau or similar
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize

assignments

• Experience developing, monitoring and / or reporting metrics related to cost, quality, safety, and schedule performance specific to standard cost and fixed priced models
• Green or Black Belt training / certification
