Description
Summary : Utilize evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to assess and reassess nutrition risk and identify nutrition needs.
Develop and implement nutrition care plans to support oral and / or nutrition support needs. Participate in quality improvement initiatives / committees.
Provide nutrition counseling to patients and families as warranted. Participate in multidisciplinary interaction and education.
At least 75% of time is dedicated to patient populations within their area of expertise, supported by board certification in a nutrition specialty.
Specialty areas include NICU, bariatric, renal, cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, pediatrics, oncology, transplant, and geriatrics.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Certification obtained from the following nationally recognized organizations, required (other certifications not listed above will be reviewed by clinical nutrition leadership as requested on an individualized basis) :
- National Board for Nutrition Support Certification
- Commission on Dietetic Registration Certifications
- Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education
- American Associate of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation
- The Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice, Inc.
- North American Transplant Coordinators Organization
