Our client produces heavy specialty steel fabricated products for a range of applications throughout the United States and globally.
Job Summary
Our client is currently seeking for Project Manager who in charge of full project completion serving as the primary customer contact from beginning of contract until completed product is delivered.
Serve as the liaison between customer and company departments such as Production, Quality, Purchasing and Shipping, and Detailing, review customer specifications, project quotes, and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.

- Will be in charge of full project completion serving as the primary customer contact from beginning of contract until completed product is delivered.
- Serve as the liaison between customer and company departments such as Production, Quality, Purchasing and Shipping, and Detailing,
- Review customer specifications, project quotes, and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Resolve problems for customers in the process of completing production of projects.
- Monitor and analyze project revenue, cost, and profitability, including material and labor costs against project quote through the duration of the projects.
- Resolve discrepancies and report on profitability of projects.
- Prepare and negotiate change orders throughout the process of completing each project.
- Review structural designs for accuracy according to customer specifications and code.
- Follow status on projects, keeping customers informed, negotiating completion times between customer and production.
- Coordinate production schedules with all areas based on anticipated release date.
- Communicate regularly with customers, coordinate customer visits to company facilities.
- Maintain and update all project / contract documentation and schedules.
- Ensuring all materials are received on or before being required by production
- Resolve issues for damaged or missing materials, determining necessary actions to rectify problems.
- Schedule final walk throughs for completion sign off of the projects.
- Will be responsible for other duties as assigned
Skills Required
- Understand basic weld procedures
- 1-4 years’ experience
- Team Player with Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple jobs at one time in a fast-paced environment
- Strong prioritizing / organization skills
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience analyzing and understanding design drawings
- Must be able to communicate with customers and vendors
Education / Training / Certification
B.S. degree in Engineering Technical, Project Management, Civil / Structural Engineering
Additional Requirements
- Work Location : On Site
- Shift Hours : Monday to Friday 7 : 00am to 4 : 00pm (1 hour for lunch)
Pay Rate / Salary
60,000 - 80,000depending on experience. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skill set and / or location.
