We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assistant Controller to join our global investment management firm in Boston, MA. This pivotal role acts as a bridge between private equity portfolio managers and external vendors, overseeing operations for various private equity funds across our investment platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee third-party service providers, including fund administrators, auditors, and tax professionals
- Review and approve financial statements, capital account statements, and investor reports
- Assist with SEC filings and regulatory compliance (NPORT, NCSR, NCEN, 38a-1, 15(c))
- Monitor fund performance metrics, cash reserves, and expense allocations
- Facilitate annual audits, tax provisions, and distributions
- Provide support to internal teams including Investor Relations, Legal, and Compliance
- Prepare and review quarterly Adviser Reports for Board of Directors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5-8 years of experience, including 3-5 years in Big 4 public accounting with private equity focus
- Expertise in 40 Act funds, RIC funds, and partnership accounting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Lux GAAP
- Proficiency in financial software (Chronograph, Canoe, Appian, Tableau a plus)

Compensation
- Salary Range : $130,000 - $140,000 annually
- Bonus potential
