Compensation : $24.50 / Hr.
WHAT TO EXPECT :
- Positions are offered on a first come, first serve basis to highly qualified candidates
- Offers of employment will be contingent upon providing proof of work authorization in the U.S. as well as successful completion of state and federal FBI fingerprint background check, drug test, TB test, and a pre-employment job related physical all paid for by Belmont Village San Ramon.
- All qualified candidates must be able to speak, read and write English in a professional setting.

Your Typical Responsibilities
- Leading small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our award winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
- Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities
- Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation
Skills Required for Success
- Confidence leading small groups of seniors or special needs populations in creative and engaging activities
- Proficiency creating in Canva, Power Point or other related software and learning new software
- Creativity, Enthusiasm, Organization, Time Management and Attention to Detail
Our Minimum Requirements
- Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field of study.
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends
