ABOUT THE ROLE Amsted Automotive Group in Geneva, IL in our Piston Pin Operation is looking for a Training Coordinator.
This individual will work with Production Supervisors to evaluate training programs, methods, and materials and choose those that best fit each situation. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Execute training programs with supervisors.
- Supports manufacturing continuous improvement initiatives that drive plant and company performance improvements.
- Obtains effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
- Deliver training programs so current employees can gain extra work-related skills and develop their careers.
- Participates in team problem solving as part of the departmental continuous improvement process.
- Conducts annual training needs assessment.
- Standardization of visual standards and documentation across all internal departments.
- Updates processes documentation and standards, works with process team leaders and supervisors to ensure document content is accurate.
- Must evaluate training programs, methods, and materials and choose those that best fit each situation.
- Work with the team to implement best practices across the plant.
- Training must be viewed as a process comprised of five related stages or activities : assessment, motivation, design, delivery, and evaluation.
- Complies with all required PPE requirements, with a significant portion of time dedicated to hands on responsibilities within the manufacturing environment.
- Seeks help if problems arise and ask questions if you do not understand.
- Responsible and accountable for the professional use of assigned work periods, machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Takes pride and performs work against documented ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 Standards environmental, safety, and quality instructions.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Minimum Qualifications : Education
- High School Diploma required. Experience
- Background in education or organizational development
- Background in manufacturing preferred
