Volt is immediately hiring for Machine Operators in Buffalo Grove, IL.
As a Machine Operator you will :
- Review production schedules, process procedures and specifications regarding the sequential start-up, operation and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
- Monitor the operation of the automated equipment and peripheral hardware. Initiates adjustments to ensure that the automated equipment and peripheral hardware operate within the established control limits.
- Inspect quality levels of production on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware. Makes adjustments to equipment or hardware when workmanship drops below quality specifications.
Initiate rework / repair activities on product that is substandard to the specifications.
- Record data required for statistical process control or inventory management.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware at specified intervals and schedules.
- Perform sequential shutdown, including the cleaning of the automated equipment or peripheral hardware.
This is a full time opportunity.
Machine Operator candidates must meet the following requirements :
- Be able to stand for entire 12 hour shift
- Great attention to detail
- Able to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions.
- Ability to effectively present to other employees, leads and supervisors of the organization.
- Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements
Pay Rate : $18.00 - $19.80 per hour Shifts : 12 hour rotational shifts 6am-6pm or 6pm to 6am
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
