Senior Full Stack Lead

Infosys is seeking a senior full stack Developer. This position requires designing and developing highly usable and scalable new application capabilities and enhancing existing capabilities to meet the needs of our customers in a fast-paced agile development environment.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

4+ years of software engineering experience in designing and developing software in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML / CSS, git source control, Screen Reader tools, such as JAWS and NVDA.

Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire service development life cycle : design, implementation, deployment, and live site support for an enterprise application.

Strong problem solving and communication skills.

U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are preferred / encouraged to apply.

Candidate must be willing to work in PST hours with some overlap working hours with teams in India.

Preferred Qualifications :

Work hours aligned with Redmond time zone (required for collaborating with engineers who are mostly in Redmond).

Solid technical aptitude and a passion for quality, strong debugging skills, experience designing and implementing web components.

Experience with implementing Web Accessibility standards, WCAG 2.0+, a11y testing.

Familiarity with Screen Reader tools, such as JAWS and NVDA.

Familiarity with templated JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)

Experience with Azure DevOps or similar work item tracking.

Strong programming skills with several languages : TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML / CSS, git source control

Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills.

Great curiosity and willingness to question, undaunted by hard technical problems

Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
