Technical Account Executive

Remote Eligible - Field Based

We would like for this role to be based out of our Ridgeland, MS office.

About this role :

The Abacus Technical Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales revenue to exceed division priorities, define and develop new business opportunities that clearly reflect the company's vision and priorities.

Other responsibilities of this position include achieving outstanding customer service, while dealing with a high volume of calls and emails, closing deals, and processing documentation after the sales process is complete.

Candidates will manage their territory with integrity and in accordance with our code of conduct. We are looking for someone with at least three to five years of sales experience.

A bachelor's degree is required while additional schooling is a plus.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Win new business opportunities while trying to grow strategic relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify and maintain a robust qualified pipeline of opportunities that align with Abacus strategic growth vision.
  • Assess an in-depth understanding of IT services and solutions to address complex and strategic needs within target businesses.
  • Provide thorough and accurate insight into the strategic initiatives of potential customers and effectively communicate the value of Abacus into their organization.
  • Appropriately forecast opportunities on a weekly and quarterly basis to achieve revenue targets.
  • Assess the competitive landscape and lead the development and implementation of differentiated win strategies.
  • Represent Abacus as a prime internal and external contact on new business pursuits.
  • Be able to utilize your excellent communication skills to interact with technical leadership and C-Level executives.
  • Recognize customer business problems and drive / influence resources to address opportunities.
  • Prospect clients within our target market to increase market share and revenue growth all over the state of Mississippi.
  • Ultimately drive sales revenue to exceed company goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in consultative sales within a service-based organization.
  • Ability to develop a professional rapport, overcome objections and maintain an influential demeanor both in person and over the phone.
  • Experience finding new prospects and selling with and through one-to-many lead sources.
  • Preferred understanding of IT operations and infrastructure and applicants in a demanding managed services and support environment.
  • High-level understanding of computer networking technology and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Compensation Package :

Base Salary + Commission
