Senior Data and Analytics Architect

We are looking for a high-performing Senior Data and Analytics Architect to join our Data Strategy team. As the principal designer and manager of our data and analytics infrastructure, your influence will be pivotal in shaping our enterprise-wide data-driven approach.

You will lead the creation, deployment, and administration of a robust data and analytics architecture in collaboration with the IT team, catering to our unique business needs.

This position requires an expert understanding of information management strategy, an analytical mindset, and a keen attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Strategically lead and oversee the design, development and deployment of the ANA data and analytics platform across the entire enterprise
• Work with the VP of Data and Analytics to design, develop and deploy Data Operations that will support the analytic requirements across the enterprise
• Collaborate closely with IT to ensure that the Data and Analytics design and deployment is aligned with IT policies and procedures
• Design, deploy and manage a comprehensive data architecture within the hybrid cloud environment
• Define and ensure data security standards within the organization. Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Identify, evaluate, recommend and oversee the selection and deployment of data management technologies and data governance tools
• Develop and maintain cloud-based data and analytic strategies and work with business leaders to ensure that the data and analytic architecture and platform meet their needs

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other Engineering related discipline
• Master’s Degree a plus

Related Work Experience

• 10+ years in the strategic design and deployment of data and analytic platforms
• 7+ years applications data engineering
• 5+ years’ developing and creating data and analytic solutions for medium to large enterprises

Skills

• Software development skills and experience with the Microsoft Azure and Databrick technology stack
• Microsoft SQL Server skills and experience
• Object oriented architecture skills and experience
• Data architecture design skills and experience
• Enterprise integrations architecture skills and experience
• MS Azure cloud architecture experience
• PowerBI or other similar reporting software experience and skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Knowledgeable in Agile, Waterfall, ITIL and other structured methodologies
• Strong organizational planning and prioritization skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation skills

Work Schedule :

Hybrid employees must work a minimum of 20% in the office.
