This person must be willing to travel nationally 50% of the time.

Motorola is looking for a full time engineer to help with the United States Postal Service Project. US citizenship is required.

USPS is constantly adding and upgrading sites within multiple locations in the United States. They specifically use Motorola P25 systems and the Engineer needs to be able to perform proper site surveys and mapping in order to optimize a current system or build a new one.

They will be designing antenna locations, cable runs, creating block diagrams, floor plans, antenna systems diagrams and rack diagrams.

They will be using software platforms such as Viso, Power Point, and or AutoCAD.

They will doing frequency analysis and should have experience with PIM, PIP, VHF, UHF, 700 MHz, 800 MHz and have a good understanding of IP network concepts, such as (TCP / IP, Ethernet, L2 / L3, Subnets).

They are looking for a entry to mid level engineer that is willing to travel through out the United States 50% of the year.

They would like this person to have both Cellular (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, etc) and Public Safety (Police, Fire, FEMA, etc).

Another plus is to have Motorola specific design experience within Land Mobile Radio (LMR) designing with AutoCAD, working with excel, outlook, google docs.

Must have great communication skills.

Motorola is also looking for somebody that has experience with Google docs, sharing files since this is a collaborative team environment.

This is a fast paced work environment, they need to be able to connect with the customer and help provide solutions. For any travel TEKsystems can help make travel accommodations, hotel, car, and meal reimbursement.

Work Hours Monday - Friday 9 - 5

Remote work Temporarily and then will report to Linthicum office
