Manager, Tax (Multiple Positions), New York, NY

Conduct financial analysis and research to support business valuations. Review third-party business and asset appraisals for audit support purposes.

Provide business and intangible asset valuations for the purpose of mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization, corporate services, and management planning.

Ensure the quality and accuracy of client deliverables. Apply in-depth technical valuation knowledge. Pursue business development opportunities.

Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.

WORK SCHEDULE : 40 hours per week, M-F (9 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience;

OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following : Valuations of business entities; Valuations of intangible assets in accordance with Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Accounting Standard Codification (ASC) 805;

Financial analysis and research; Purchase price allocation valuations; and Analyzing goodwill and long lived asset impairment in accordance with FASB ASC 360.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 20%.

SALARY : $173,555 - $215,700 per year
