Cafe Prep & Line Cook
Part-time Friday, Saturday & Sundays only
This job is for the Food and Beverage Department of AIM Sports Group in Seal Beach, CA. We are open every weekend throughout the year and you will receive a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
- Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment in which guest satisfaction is always the goal
- Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
- Ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organization and prioritization
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position, including bending or lifting to 50 lbs and standing and / or walking for extended periods of time
- Flexible schedule candidates must have the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
- ServeSafe certification required
Pay, starting at $18 - $20 / hr plus tips
