Job Description
The Armed Security Response Team (SRT) Agent is tasked with safeguarding the Allied Universal Executive Protection and Intelligence Services client in San Diego, CA.
The SRT Agent position requires individuals who can perform in a dynamic environment and possess the physical, operational, and tactical capabilities to address wide-ranging security related tasks.
This is a full-time job opportunity working five 8-hour shifts a week, Monday through Friday. Security Response Team agents provide security for designated properties and personnel using a protective response model.
Agents should maintain a low profile while on duty and are not only responsible for security, but also for providing real-time information about the surrounding area of the work site.
Agents should understand the baseline of the normal environment, and accurately and decisively communicate to supporting entitles when required.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide covert and overt protection to the designated clients and properties.
- Work within a cross-functional team
- Safeguard the work site, personnel and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Conduct all facets of protective duties.
- Participate in operational sustainment training.
- Conducts ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
- Operates motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
- Works directly with local law enforcement to ensure business continuity
- Verbally deescalate situations and conflicts, prioritizing non-physical resolution wherever possible.
- Swiftly and effectively respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, natural disasters, and security breaches.
- Promptly report any security breaches, safety hazards, or unusual incidents to appropriate authorities and supervisors, providing clear and concise information to facilitate timely response and resolution.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Must be physically fit and possess a valid driver's license.
- Must have at least five years prior law enforcement experience in patrol, special operations, or similar. SWAT or tactical experience highly preferred.
- Must possess California state guard card and California exposed firearm permit.
- Minimum of five years as a certified law enforcement officer / agent with patrol or special operations experience.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in an armed corporate security capacity.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with handguns.
- Current First Aid, CPR, AED certification required.
- Tactical medicine training or experience preferred.
