Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant :
- Maintain standard cost of materials and perform heavy margin analysis
- Review standard and actual cost variances, provide report to management
- Analyze and review profit margins by category, and products
- Carry out variance analysis such as purchase price variance to cost variance, cost revaluation, invoice to purchase order variances
- Inventory management
Preferred Qualifications of the Cost Accountant :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience required
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills
- Solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and working with ERP / Financial System
