Job Title : Data Entry Clerk
We are looking for an enthusiastic member to join our client’s team in a world renown oil and gas company. The data entry clerk will have the main duties of assisting a project manager in the Information Technology department by creating spreadsheets and keeping track of the status of projects and daily tasks.
Location 100% on-site, downtown Houston, TX 77002
Responsibilities
- Inputting data and making changes to existing data figures in digital databases
- Uploading data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets
- Updating order statuses for projects
- Being detail meticulous and double-checking spreadsheets to make sure data was inputted correctly
- Keep information confidential
- Compile, verify the accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Apply data program techniques and procedures
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations
- Scan documents and print files, when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma with associates degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in business process service delivery or a related field
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
