To support their growth, we are looking for a Marketing Senior Buyer to join their procurement team and play a crucial role in shaping their supply chain strategies through effective purchasing decisions.
As a Marketing Senior Buyer , you will be responsible for managing the procurement of all marketing-related goods and services in the North America region.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure that our marketing initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Your expertise in supplier negotiation, strategic sourcing, and market analysis will help achieve marketing procurement objectives efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Procurement Strategy : Develop and execute procurement strategies for marketing services such as media buying, digital advertising, creative services, and promotional materials.
- Supplier Management : Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal terms for pricing, quality, and delivery.
- Cost Management : Analyze marketing budgets and manage cost control while maximizing value through competitive sourcing and negotiating with vendors.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, cost-saving opportunities, and innovation within the marketing supply chain.
- Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business objectives.
- Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations for large-scale marketing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Performance Monitoring : Track supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service, while mitigating any risks that could impact marketing initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement : Drive process improvements in the procurement function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in marketing spend.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on marketing categories.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and value in marketing procurement.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
