Bismarck Animal Clinic & Hospital is a 5 doctor AHAA accredited veterinary hospital in the heart of North Dakota. We offer preventative care, general medicine, surgery, digital radiology, ultrasound diagnostic imaging, dental cleaning, and full in-house Idexx lab services.
We are seeking a full-time veterinary assistant to join our growing team!Our veterinary assistants are the entire team’s primary support.
Every department relies on their aid with a variety of services to provide excellent client and patient care
Responsibilities of the assistant include but are not limited to performing the following :
ØClient Communication and education
ØDiagnostic imaging preparation and processing
ØObtaining patient history and maintaining treatment records
ØPre and post-surgery patient care
ØPractice protocol knowledge, understanding and adherence
ØMaintain & sterilize surgical instruments / equipment
ØAssist our client service team as needed by answering phone, scheduling appointments and checking in patients.
ØMaintain inventory and stocking our treatment areas
ØAdhere to our cleaning protocols
