Job Summary
Supervises, plans, and directs the daily activities, operations and staff for office of Admissions Operations. Assists in the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of personnel.
Assures quality customer service by monitoring staff. Researches and analyzes data entry operations, and develops and implements modifications, policies, and procedures that will enhance staff knowledge, and improve operational quality and effectiveness.
- Ensures that all Admissions and Recruitment modules are working effectively and efficiently; staff are trained in the use of the system;
- the data has integrity; proper security is in place to prevent unauthorized access and processing; testing of system upgrades are performed;
and reporting is occurring timely and accurately. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Individuals must possess knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively interact with administration, faculty, students, staff, and outside contacts.
2. Excellent computer skills required, including Microsoft Office. Experience with Banner and Slate preferred.3. Ability to handle detail-oriented assignments with accuracy and maintain confidentiality4.
Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.5. Ability to evaluate changes in system and university requirements and incorporate these into existing processing.
Must have ability to direct workflow for department.6. Excellent project management skills. Required Qualifications 1. Education : Any combination of education, training or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
2. Experience : 3-5 years increasingly responsible experience in educational administration or related leadership roles in business process management emphasizing project management, continuous quality improvement, and / or process reengineering.
Preferred Qualifications List comments regarding work hours Monday through Friday -regular work hours 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, may require some evenings or weekends as needed.

Percentage Of Time 30 Job Duty Researches and analyzes data entry operations, and develops and implements modifications, policies, and procedures that will enhance staff knowledge, and improve operational quality and effectiveness.
- Percentage Of Time 20 Job Duty Ensures that all Recruitment and Admissions related modules in Slate are working effectively and efficiently;
- staff are trained in the use of the system; the data has integrity; proper security is in place to prevent unauthorized access and processing;
testing of system upgrades are performed; and reporting is occurring timely and accurately. This includes oversight of the AO team’s use of the TDX ticketing system.
Percentage Of Time 20 Job Duty Coordinates with Admissions and the Office of the Registrar to administer and enforce University policies;
directs the planning, coordination, and implementation of recruitment, admissions, and enrollment data entry processes and procedures.
Percentage Of Time 10 Job Duty Collaborates with the office of Enrollment Data Systems to validate and manage applicant data in Slate and ODS and assists with development and validation of applicant data reporting and analysis.
Percentage Of Time 10 Job Duty Participates in annual Commencement and Convocation activities as assigned by the committees that oversee these events, including travel to event locations as required.
