Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Civil / Land Development Engineer to their Houston team!
Responsibilities :
- Preparedetailed design for a variety of projects including potable water andwastewater pipelines, drainage systems, pumping stations (stormwater,wastewater, water) hydraulic studies, pavement, and local roadways
- Responsiblefor the studies / design of wastewater system rehabilitation
- Preparetraffic studies / design of roadway pavement condition and rehabilitation,widening, grading improvements
- Hydraulic / hydrologicmodeling designs for drainage basins, water quality improvement and stormwatercollection systems
- Preparemaster planning reports, design, and construction documents for potable water,stormwater, roadway and wastewater projects
- Performanalyses using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools
- Completegeneral civil engineering services
- Assistwith construction engineering services
- Assistproject engineers / managers as needed
Requirements :
- degree in Civil, Mechanical,Environmental, or Transportation Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- PE License or ability to obtain withinsix months of hire
- Stormwater modeling experiencepreferred (using ICPR and / or SWMM)
- Pressure pipe modeling experience preferred(using Bentley and / or Innovyze products)
- Project Manager experience preferred
- Abilityto travel with own transportation
