The Opportunity
We have an immediate opening for a Digital Business Analyst based at our research center supporting the materials industrialization team;
this unique role is an interface between developers and industry. Your primary goal is identifying the needs of the Material Department business entities and ensuring digital solutions developed by the company are aligned.
You will coordinate with multi-functional teams and individuals to provide value, streamline legacy business issues, increase our digital potential, improve our daily efficiency, and quality of output.
You will lead and champion digital trends by turning them into future opportunities within the local development teams, linking with worldwide networks.

What will you do
Engage with department teams (Design, Industrialization, & Support teams) in defining, consolidating, and representing their specific needs to the broader network, gathering key zone inputs with priority and negotiable items.
Identify issues and opportunities with the client / business partners to accelerate digital ambitions and increase business impact.
Valorize and quantify the resource demands for product deployment from conception to platform support.
Using the detailed knowledge of the digital solutions and existing processes to understand the needs expressed by the department, the digital BA translates those needs into solutions.
You will identify and challenge current business practices, defining future opportunities, and recommend the best solution.
- Respect and ensure all safety and security of information and data is accounted for and mitigated.
- Integrate closely with manufacturing digital factories to validate the relevance of any digital process & data needs linked to materials.
Identify potential beta test networks, availability of teams, and feasibility to implement digital ambitions.
Lead progress, training of departmental champions, capitalize on acquired knowledge and validate the success of internal clients and partner teams.
Serve as a liaison between partner BA functions, the global BA Network, and understand the linkages between each of the teams and how digital evolutions are captured.
Requirements
3-5 years of relevant work experience on digital projects and at least 1 year in a similar business analyst role or function.
Awareness of Digital Technologies, capabilities, & applications.
Project Management / Process Redesign and Implementation experience. Ability to manage a dynamic portfolio of digital evolutions, with constant foresight of functional specifications.
Ability to mobilize local teams and interact optimally with global teams. Persuasive interpersonal skills to communicate and lead strategic orientations.
Exposure to data mining and analysis, but also the end user interface and platforms, ensuring smooth transitions and support are available for each of these worldwide implementations.
6 Sigma certified Green Belt appreciated. CSM Certified Scrum Master a plus.
Knowledge / Previous exposure to Manufacturing, Research & Development, or Material Development is a plus.
