Job Details :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for a Permanent Controller position in the agriculture industry. This role requires an individual with a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and consolidating financial data, supervising accounting and finance departments, creating strategic plans for financial operations, and preparing both internal and external financial statements.

The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and investments, and communicating financial information to management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

1. Collect and consolidate financial data for analysis and decision-making purposes.

2. Supervise the accounting and finance departments, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all operations.

3. Develop strategic plans for financial operations to support company growth and profitability.

4. Prepare internal and external financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

5. Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, laws, and regulations, including GAAP.

6. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and investments, aligning with company goals and objectives.

7. Communicate financial information to management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

8. Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.

9. Manage company cash flows, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

10. Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

11. Prepare depreciation schedules and perform variance analysis for financial reporting and decision-making.

12. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable financial reporting standards.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Finance industry.

3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other financial reporting standards.

4. Proven experience in collecting and consolidating financial data, supervising accounting and finance departments, and creating strategic plans for financial operations.

5. Proficient in preparing financial statements, both internal and external.

6. Experience in ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations.

7. Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and investments.

8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to management and stakeholders.

9. Experience in developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures.

10. Proficient in preparing depreciation schedules and performing variance analysis.

11. Experience in managing company cash flows and overseeing payroll operations.

12. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide recommendations.

13. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving company goals.
