We are currently seeking a reliable, highly organized and technically savvy Commercial Building Maintenance Engineer . This position will require travel between Everett, Seattle, SeaTac and Olympia.

Essential Job Functions :
- This position will serve as next level support for maintenance needs at the hotels we work with.
- Must be able to perform minor carpentry tasks.
- Perform hands-on maintenance to guest rooms and hotel equipment (painting, wall vinyl repair, basic plumbing) and be able to delegate tasks to subordinates.
- Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
- Know when a task is beyond the skill level or current capacity of hotel staff and to seek outside help, such as contractor.
- Obtain multiple bids from contractors and manage contractors on site through completion.
- Able to react quickly and make decision for expensive repairs as-need, mitigating guest impact.
- Manage and delegate to employees to ensure multiple tasks are being completed in a timely manner.
- Able to meet all deadlines in regard to brand and company standards.
- Provide a safe working environment.
Qualifications :
- Ability to meet deadlines with little or no supervision.
- Must have vehicle and be willing to commute between Everett, Seattle, SeaTac, Olympia and Poulsbo. Must have driving record that qualifies with Company policy
Salary : This is an hourly paid position, eligible for overtime. Wage will start between $30-40 depending on experience and qualifications.
Additional reimbursement for mileage and phone use is negotiable.
