Job Title : Operator II / Production Specialist II
Job Location : Scarborough, ME, U.S.A. 04074
Job Type : Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)
Pay : $25.50 - $28.06 an hour (depending on shift)
Shift Structure : 1st Shift, 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday
2nd Shift, 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday
40 hours per week
The role of the Production Specialist II : Will perform the work required for the assembly of components, devices, and / or the final product depending on the trade assigned.
- Performs work required for the assembly of components, devices and / or the final product
- Performs routine work in all production areas with limited supervision
- Ensures quality of product using standard operating procedures, templates, training and supervision, and good judgment
- Provides input for enhancing efficiencies and modifying / creating SOPs to ensure accuracy / quality or improve productivity
- May be subject to call back or extended hours as required
About the Production Specialist II :
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience :
- HS diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of GMP and how it applies to specific responsibilities and manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge and / or understanding of medical device manufacturing preferred
- Prior Machine Operation experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Skill in using computer applications including spreadsheet, database, and word processing software.
