Position : Production Associate

Location : Canton Ohio (Warner Road)

Wage : $24.46

Shift : 7PM 7AM (3,2,2 Continuous Schedule)

While reporting to the production Supervisor as the Production Associate, you will be responsible for Set-up, operate, and maintain high speed production machines.

Perform tasks and provide manufacturing support to assist in the plant's safety, quality, and production goals.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Inspects product throughout the shift and notifies shift production supervisor and quality technician of any quality defects through both visual inspection and several detailed quality inspection procedures.
• Responsible for keeping work area and machinery clean and safe.
• May operate forklift during routine performance of duties.
• Enters production and quality information into production software.
• Communicates pertinent information to next shift.
• Performs clean-up, painting, and housekeeping duties.
• Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company.

Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.

Participates in teams and work groups with goal of continuous improvement.

• Complies with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.

• Supports and follows the guidelines of the food safety system.
• Performs routine manual or mechanical production functions necessary to operate the production equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Stages and maintains packaging materials and follows correct packaging / banding procedures.
• Performs and assists in maintaining production equipment as required.
• Provides on-the-job training of assigned personnel.
• Conducts inspection of in process materials and in process finished products.
• Responsible for replenishing supplies and materials required for assigned area.

• You have the ability to apply standard evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard packaging production techniques, procedures, and criteria.
