STEMI COORD - CARDIAC DATA REGISTRY SPECIALIST
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education : Technical or Associate degree preferred. Demonstration of the skill and proficiency in applying the principles, concepts and techniques essential to the management of a medical facility or practice.
Experience : 1 to 2 years medical experience preferred but not required. Must have knowledge of basic computer programs.
Must have good organizational skills.

Normal hospital environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones.
Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing / pulling up to 350 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
JOB SUMMARY
The Cardiac Data Registry specialist will be responsible for collection and management of data surrounding the STEMI program in accordance with the American Heart Association guidelines.
Additionally, they will be responsible for entry of the NCDR Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) registries, and others deemed appropriate by the director of cardiac cath / ep lab.
They will be responsible for organization of data for monthly reporting to the physicians and STEMI network participants.
Ability to manage competing priorities, multi-task with results oriented outcomes and work in a fast paced environment. This position is required to utilize independent judgement.
