- Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues to management. Build trade jobs from printed material sheets.
- Organize warehouse space and maintain inventory levels by accurately counting and recording incoming and outgoing materials.
- Follow established procedures for picking, packing, and labeling orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment in a safe manner, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards or concerns to supervisors or management immediately.
- Assist with conducting regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals while prioritizing safety at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience with HVAC parts is a plus.
- Must have proven track record warehouse experience. Minimum of 1 year.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Decision making skills and emotional intelligence.
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Ability to make sound judgments.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
