Fontanini located in McCook, IL just outside of Chicago is seeking Sanitation Professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food manufacturing environment.

Position Summary : Sanitation Professionals are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all production areas, including equipment, machinery, walls, floors, and ceilings.

Pay Rates start at $20.50 per hour with a differential pay of $1.50 per hour worked.

Position Responsibilities :

• Cleaning up excess meat from the floor using a squeegee or shovel
• Hosing down equipment and machinery with high pressure, hot water hoses
• Applying foam to all surfaces in production areas, scrubbing equipment and machinery, rinsing foam from equipment and machinery, applying sanitizers and oil / air mixtures to all surfaces in production areas
• Disassembling equipment and machinery for cleaning purposes, once clean reassembling equipment
• Complete all required production paperwork.
• Required to perform all required quality checks according to standards.
• Follow all people safety guidelines, food safety guidelines and company policies.
• Participate in safety and quality trainings.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting preferably food manufacturing.
• Understanding of GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Ability to read labels requirements.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job per job workstations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
