- Independently plan and execute various types of IT audits (applications and infrastructure) and other projects, including risk assessment, pre and post implementation reviews, scoping, testing, and conclusion reporting
- Develop solutions and communicate recommendations to IT management and senior leadership utilize technical knowledge to suggest process improvements that will help NVR better manage IT risks
- Coordinate with fellow Internal Auditors, external auditors, and consultants to complete assigned projects in a team environment
- Plan and participate in audits of internal controls over financial reporting
- Assist with audit process improvements through automation and innovation, to continually increase audit effectiveness and efficiency and provide management the most relevant and timely insights
- Remain current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and standard processes in IT auditing and cybersecurity
- Train and supervise junior auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 4+ years IT Audit experience with increasing responsibility in testing system profiles, IT general controls, and cloud based systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking and persuasive skills
- Relevant certifications like CISA, CISSP, and / or CIA is a plus
- Experience in building relationships and reviewing observations with and presenting recommendations to senior management is a plus
