Order Processor
Responsibilities
- Enter, process, and handle the lifecycle of customer orders in our order management system.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve credit issues efficiently.
- Act as a Material Strider, applying lean principles to handle the flow of materials within the organization.
- Follow Standard Work and resupply paths, ensuring no bending, stretching, twisting, or lifting. Ensure ergonomic safety practices are followed.
- Use the Long Lead Time Parts Kanban Board to easily find the card when the parts arrive.
- Participate in weekly reviews of Kanban Audits, discussing actual and design numbers and addressing top 10 actual vs. design gaps.
- Apply tools like value stream mapping and Kaizen techniques to continually improve processes and eliminate waste.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve understanding and implementation of the Fortive Business System (FBS) tools and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High school diploma, or equivalent; a degree in business, supply chain, operations management, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in an order processing, materials handling, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of lean principles and methodologies; experience with Fortive Business System (FBS) or similar operational systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and social skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt changes quickly.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with order management software.
