The Finance Team includes Finance Business Partnership, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams.
Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.
We’re looking for a Contracts & Sourcing Specialist to join our Finance team! As a member of the Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, & Risk Management team, you’ll play a key role in contract negotiations, contract management, partnering with best-in-class suppliers, and building relationships that deliver value to Snap Inc.
Working from our Santa Monica Headquarters, you’ll work alongside our global business partners to develop relationships with suppliers that’ll help us scale, as well as save on expenses.
What you’ll do :
Build collaborative relationships with internal business partners, including Legal, Security, Compliance, Finance, and Risk Management in the performance of purchasing activities
Prepare supplier contracts that maximize value and minimize risk to the business, including reviewing, drafting, redlining, and management of contracts, statements of work, order forms, and amendments
Negotiate business-related terms and conditions with suppliers with solid understanding of internal business partners’ strategies and priorities
Lead contract negotiations and the contract negotiation process securing advantageous contracts
Help instill a procurement discipline across the company and be seen as a key finance partner
Provide guidance to internal business partners on purchasing and contracts management policies and best practices for contracts, purchasing, and compliance processes
Provide internal business partners with clear insights and explanations into cost drivers, risks, and opportunities to enable informed decisions and favorable contract positions
Occasionally, lead end-to-end RFx services that generate value, including collection of business requirements, management of bidder communications, analysis of bid responses, and data gathering with business partners through to project closure
Utilize procurement, legal, and document management systems to support internal business partners in the creation of purchase requisitions and management of contracts
Help support the team’s diverse supplier program and related activities to achieve diverse supplier spend goals

Excellent negotiating abilities
Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office and G-Suite products
Someone who makes and recommends data driven decisions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with significant levels of ambiguity
Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
3+ years of contracting, strategic sourcing, procurement, and / or paralegal experience with an emphasis on professional services, consulting, and technology categories
Preferred qualifications :
Advanced degree preferred
Oracle and Ironclad systems experience preferred

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position.These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $114,000-$171,000 annually.
The base salary range for this position is $108,000-$163,000 annually.
The base salary range for this position is $97,000-$145,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
