Job Overview and Responsibilities : Seeking a Residential Solar Sales Specialist to join our growing Venture Solar team. We’re looking for qualified candidates who have experience selling and closing over the phone.

Part time and full time schedules available. Start date is 11 / 5, only applicants who can start in a class for this date will be considered.

This is not a customer service role. This is for hard-charging sales people who know how to make Yes’s out of Maybe’s . In this role, you will be responsible for calling homeowners who requested information about the benefits of rooftop solar, qualifying them, kindling their interest in the product, answering any questions they may have, and scheduling their free personalized home energy savings consultation.

You earn commission for every completed savings consultation you set up and a second commission if they sign up for solar.

What you'll bring : Minimum of 2 years of outbound calling experience Ability to make 30+ dials per hour Ability to perform in a remote environment Previous sales roles in renewable energy strongly favored Self starter Strong computer skills and a fast modern laptop or desktop is required Experience with Salesforce CRM Cold calling experience strongly preferred Exceptional listening and communicating skills are essential to success in this role Strong time management and multitasking ability Detail oriented Bachelor’s preferred Friendly yet persistent phone presence Reliable work ethic and self-directed Competitive demeanor Salary : $15 per hour (Target Earnings : $65k-$80k+ after monthly commissions) Benefits : Work with industry leaders at a time of unprecedented growth Competitive compensation and bonus opportunities Full benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Voluntary Life & AD&D Insurance, H.
